Biography
James was born in early 1841 in Great Missenden, the son of Jesse and Sophia.
In 1864 he married Mary Ann Mason, and they lived in Great Missenden in 1871 and again from 1901. No children shown in either census, but it is not known where they were living in the intervening years.
According to the 1901 census James was a general labourer.
James probably died in 1923.
