It is unknown where she was buried or exactly when she passed away, but her husband remarried as a widower in 1896.
Research Notes
The 1937 death used in online trees is for an Ada (Aldridge) Hewitt (1865-1937) who married Alfred Hewitt in 1883 which is not this Ada as her children were born around this. The married notice confirms that Job is her father.
Alexander remarried in 1896 and stated he was a widower since Jan 1891, however, Walter was born in 1892. She may have died in 1892 when Walter was born (27 Sep 1892) or maybe Jan 1893.
Walter was killed in action in World War I, only siblings are mentioned in his death notice. Albert, also killed in WWI, had his Aunt as his next of kin. It seems likely Ada may have died prior to this or at least was not in contact with her children.
Alexander was alive in 1902 as he was the next of kin for George in his military records. He was living at Willis Street, Wellington at the time.
