Biography
George was born in 1901 to Samuel Alefounder (1860-1958) and his wife Amy Ann Brooks (1868-1936). He was baptised on 11 September 1901 at St Peter, Liverpool, Lancashire
He was the youngest of the family and had 4 siblings.
He married Evaline Grindle in April 1926 at West Derby, Lancashire.
They had a daughter, Joan, born in Birkenhead, Merseyside.
In 1939, he was living at 7 Halsey Avenue, Liverpool with his wife Evaline and daughter Joan. (to be confirmed as entry has been redacted. Joan died in February 2021). He was described as Traveller (Biscuits).
He passed away in 1990 at 106 Dovedale Road, Liverpool 18.
He was cremated at Liverpool Crematorium on 7th January 1991. He died of Cerebrovascular accident, Ischaemic heart disease and congestive cardiac failure at the age of 89.[1]
