  • * Mary Crocker Alexander: WFHC [1]
    • WFHC Note 36: Mary Crocker ALEXANDER was the granddaughter of Charles CROCKER, one of four founders of the Central Pacific Railroad and production chief of the eastbound track of the Transcontinental Railroad (1861-69).

      Mary was active in civic and charitable causes. In 1952, she was one of three women who were the first appointed to the Board of the NY Metropolitan Museum of Art.
