Baptised 25 Dec 1800 Bradley, Hampshire. In the 1841 census he is working as a male servant in the nearby parish of Dummer. In the 1851 census he is working as a shepherd in Ashford, Middlesex. He was buried on 13 May 1855 in the St. Matthew's Parish Register of Ashford, Middlesex, which notes his place of abode as Staines Union.
