Research Notes
Note 1: There are some sources that say Martha Alexander Frizzell married Theophilus Pinder after Samuel's death and others who say she died before his death. Theophilus and his wife Martha, last name unknown had many children, unlikely at Martha Alexander Frizzell's age. [Fitzmaurice-131|Susan Fitzmaurice]
Note 2: Martha has been cited as having died in 1717 in Massachusetts, while her husband died in 1718. She might have died in childbirth as Deliverance seemed to have died in 1717 in sources that identify her death. It is my experience that all the babies in my family named Deliverance died at birth. [Fitzmaurice-131|Susan Fitzmaurice]
Martha was born on July 16, 1668.
Profile was a conflation of spouse of Theophilus Pinder (-1765) and of Samuel Frizzell (1673-1718)
The former Martha may have been born in Scotland, but no source has appeared, beyond her burial and Pinder's death record showing spouse Martha. That Martha passed away in 1754. Find A Grave: Memorial #45492287

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Martha by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Martha:
Alexander-7499 and Alexander-6545 do not represent the same person because: There is ample evidence that Mary and Martha are sisters. Martha's profile appear substantially correct. I found no evidence of Mary other than her birth, which means she may have died in childhood, never married, or there is simply nothing available about her but her birth. There is nothing to substantiate she was married to Samuel Frizzell. There are multiple sources, some very very old and they cite Martha and her marriage, but not Mary. None of the Samuel Frizzell citations include a marriage to Mary.
Alexander-6545 and Alexander-649 appear to represent the same person because: Frizzell was also spelled Frazier. There are some discrepancies between facts, but not enough to recognize that these are the same person.
Alexander-7499 and Alexander-6545 appear to represent the same person because: These appear to be duplicate profiles for the wife of Samuel Frizzell. There are no sources for Alexander-7499, so it appears when resolving the different birth and death dates those used on Alexander-6545 are the ones that should be used.
