DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
The baptismal record for this individual puts her birth and baptism in the *other* Klingen, the one in Rhineland-Palatinate, near Bad Bergzabern, not the Klingen near Augsburg in Bavaria. Could we get this changed in the profile? Also for her husband, Henry Baltzel.
Alexander-13529 and Alexander-14369 appear to represent the same person because: Mary's parents were Heinrich and Margaretha Alexander. She married Heinrich Baltzel and they had the following children. Gustave, Henry, Peter, George, Samuel, John, Mary Maria, Joseph, Catherine, and Elizabeth.
Alexander-13529 has Mary Maria listed as her child and Alexander-14369 has Elizabeth listed. I am a decedent of Henry. I would be happy to add the other children once the merge is complete.
I am new to wiki tree, but have several well established trees on Ancestry. I have only begun to migrate my tree here and noticed this when completing my GEDcompare report. I would assume her spouse needs to be merged as well, but have not hit him on my report yet. Thanks.
