Nancy was born about 1857. She is the daughter of John Alexander and Helena. She married Adam Carson, farmer of Tober, Kilraghts, son of William Carson, farmer, on 12 Jun 1884 at Clough Presbyterian Church, County Antrim, Ireland. She was named in her father John’s Will in 1894.
“Clough Graveyard 1920 Erected by, Adam Carson, Ballybogie, In memory of his son William Carson died 22nd October, 1920 aged 35 years Also the above named Adam Carson died 7th April 1931, aged 74 years Also his wife Nancy Carson died 14th July 1933, aged 77 years Also his grand daughter Jane Carson died 7th Nov 1947, aged 18 years And his daughter in law Ester Barr Carson died 13th June 1953, aged 57 years His son Adam died 27th May 1967, aged 76 years Also his grandson Adam died 10th October 1975 aged 53 years”
