James Alexander was born on 1 June 1838 in Boston, Massachusetts. His parents were John Alexander and Sarah (Read) Alexander[1].
He married Margaret Lombard, but the date of their marriage is uncertain.
James passed away on 25 August 1910 in Wakefield, Massachusetts[2], and is buried in Eastern Cemetery his wife's hometown of Gorham, Maine.
