Charles was born in 1859. He was the son of Henry Alexander and Samantha Holden. He passed away in 1932.
The 1870 United States census records: Henry (50) and Symantha (37) with children Allen C (14), Thomas J (11), Charles W (9), James (7), John B (6), and Anna L (5) are living in District 10, Rutherford, Tennessee. [1]
The 1880 United States census records: Henry (56) and Samantha (47) with children Allen (23), Thomas (22), Charley (20), James (18), John B (17), Laura (14), and Edney F (11) are living in Franklin, Tennessee. [2]
