Peter was born in 1829. He was the son of Colin Alexander and Anne Jamie.
On the 14 October 1853 Peter Alexander married Martha Carnegie. [1]
Their son Colin is born on the 10 May 1854 and is baptised on the 11 June 1854 at Benholm, Kincardineshire. [2]
There is a possibility their son Colin died young as he is not listed in the Census of 1861. It just lists Peter and Martha. Peter is listed as a fisherman.[3]
1871 -1891are still living in Fore Street, Johnshaven, but by 1901 are listed as Front Street, Johnshaven. [4]
On the 8 August 1908 Peter dies of Bronchitis which he had for 2 months 10 days. [5]
