Nancy (Alexander) Wauchope was a Maryland colonist.

Nancy was born about 1702 in Cork, Ireland. [1]

She married Samuel Vachub or Walkup in 1719 in Fergus, Ulster, Ireland. We can presume they came to the Colonies in 1724 since their second child was born on the ship on 15 Nov 1724. Their children:

  1. Joseph, b: ABT 1719 in Ulster, Ireland
  2. James Alexander, b: 15 NOV 1724 in On Ship Crossing The Atlantic

  4. Florence, b: ABT 1732 in Pennsylvania

Nancy died in 1740 in Lexington, Rockbridge, Virginia.

Sources for John Alexander and Ann Axtell do not mention such a daughter, and John Alexander died in 1699. I am removing her as their daughter.

There seems to be an exact death date for her father, John Alexander, and it's three years before her estimated birth date. And if she was born in America, why did she marry Samuel in Ireland?

If both their birth dates are right, Nancy (1702) can't be the mother of Margaret Walkup Gay (ca. 1705). I think Nancy is the mother of the other Margaret, b. 1730.

Alexander-2358 and Alexander-2131 appear to represent the same person because: same parents, same child, same birth and death dates and places
