Claude Crump Alexander was the son of Samuel Newton Alexander and Nancy Crump. Claude served as a lieutenant in the Air Force during WW I serving in France. In 1921 he married Pearl Louise Garvin. He was instrumental in the organization of the Boone County Hospital and served on the first Board of Governors for the hospital .He was president of the Security Bank in Harrison, Arkansas from 1949 to 1960.He was active in the Chamber of Commerce,Rotary Club and served as chairman of the Office of Price Administration during WW 2. He was also a deacon and Elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Harrison, AR.[2]
