Lydia Alexander was born on 16 January 1811 in Vinalhaven, Knox, Maine, the daughter of Henry Alexander [1] and Mercy Beverage. She was the fourth of five siblings. Her mother died in childbirth in 1817, and her father later remarried and had several more children. Lydia Alexander and John M. Fuller were married on 24 April 1842 in Vinalhaven, Knox, Maine. [2] They had two sons, John A., 1847-1940; and Alfred W., 1849-1937. [3]
In 1850, the Fuller family lived in Appleton, Waldo, Maine. All members of the family were born in Maine. The household included John M. Fuller, 40, a farmer, with $1300 in real estate; his wife, Lydia, 39; and their sons, John, 3; and Alfred, an infant. [4]
Lydia B. (Alexander) Fuller, 1811-1858, died, aged 47. She was the daughter of Henry Alexander and Mercy Beverage. Lydia is buried with her husband at Pine Grove Cemetery, Appleton, Maine. Their son, John Alexander Fuller, 1847-1940, is buried with his wife at Seaside Cemetery, Tenants Harbor, Maine. [5]
