AARON of Mecklenburg County, son of Aaron (David) was born 1735 doubtless in Cecil County,Md. His mother was Ann. He died Nov 2,1805 in Mecklenburg County aged 68 years. Aaron married Eleanor Price, a daughter of Thomas; she was born in 1749 and died July 12, 1823 aged "74 years and 2 months" Eleanor and Aaron are buried in the old Sugaw Creek graveyard, a few miles north of Charlotte.
Military Service,
Aaron Alexander served in 1775 under Captain Ely Kershaw for 1 month and 20 days, in the campaign in South Carolina. South carolina 3rd Regiment. He would have seen action at Sullivan Island, Great Cane Break, and the snow Campaign.

In the name of God, Amen, I Aaron Alexander of the State of North Carolina & County of Mecklenburg being in a sick and low condition but of sound & perfect mind & memory (blessed be God) do this 31st Day of October in the year of our Lord 1805 make & publish this my last will & testament. I give my body to the dust from whence it was taken & my Soul to God who gave it_
first I give and bequeath to my oldest son Thos Alexander one negro woman named Abby. Also one feather bed well furnished with a good mare & colt_
Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Agnessone negro girl named Cate with a Bay Mare & Colt likewise a good feather bed well furnished_
Item I give and bequeath unto my son Matthew Alexander the plantation called the Cross Roads (insert) after his mothers decease(/insert) & one Sorrel Mare and saddle and bridle with one Coalt rising one year old also one good feather bed well furnish'd
Item I give and bequeath to my son David Alexander one Sorrel Coalt rising three year old now at the other place a saddle & bridle also a good feather bed well furnish'd & a negro boy name Tom_
I give and bequeath to my son Frank Alexander one negro boy named Kitt also one brown coalt rising one year old a saddle & bridle a good feather bed well furnish'd_
Item I give and bequeath unto my son Jesse Alexander the child the negro woman (Peg?) is with</b> & if said child should not be born living the value thereof to be made to said Jessey in good property, a good horse saddle & bridle, a good feather bed well furnish'd_
Item I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Eliner the remainder of all my estate real and personal & I nereby make and ordain my worthy friend Thomas Kennedy Executor of this my last will & testament in witness whereof the sd Aaron Alexander hath to this my last will and testament set my hand & seal the day & year first above written his N.B. interlined before signed
