The 1860 Census[3] shows her at age 36 with her husband and five children in Brown Township, Columbia County, Arkansas.
The 1870 Census[4] shows her at age 45 with her husband and seven children in DeWitt County, Texas.
Research Notes
When she married John Placker, her name was Mary Alexander.[1] But Family Search names her Mary Hightower.[2] It is possible that Alexander was a previous married name and Hightower was her Last Name At Birth. More documentation needed!
