Nancey appears with parents James and Juriah (Vaughn) Webster in the census of 1850. Nancey's birth year is 1824. Nancey married Henry Webster and they lived in the Mt. Zion, Grant Co, Kentucky area.[1]
Henry Webster and Nancey Webster applying to be married with James M. Arnold (brother-in-law) signing the bond. (He is also their neighbor once married)
Research Notes: Nancey is frequently recorded in un-sourced family trees to have been an Alexander. There is no documentary evidence to support the surname Alexander and documentary and dna evidence to support she was a Webster. She was the daughter of James Webster who's father is undetermined (not Christopher Webster). Nancey was also the daughter of Juriah Vaughn, who's father was James Vaughn. Research has determined Nancey's brother James Jr. married Jane McClure Hutchinson and there was an Alexander marriage in this family (Abigail and James H. Alexander whose daughter was Margaret Jane Hutchinson).
Neighbors James and Mary (Webster) Arnold, Nancey's sister Mary, confirmed to be Mary Webster per the below.
