Catherine Alexandre was born on July 22, 1860 in Sandy Point, Newfoundland, daughter of Jacques John Alexandre (~1837– ) and Susanne Benoit (1841–1918).
Catherine (19) married Tatien LeBlanc (25) (born on February 28, 1854 in Sandy Point; son of Dosime LeBlanc and Vitaline (Aucoin) LeBlanc) on November 24, 1879 in Immaculate Conception Church, Sandy Point.
