On 25 Jun 1880 at the time of the 1880 US Census, head of household Henry F. Alford (age 32, born in AR) was employed as a Carpenter and living in Fenter, Arkansas with his wife Josephine Alford (age 26, born in GA); son James L. Alford (age 5, born in AR); son Willird B. Alford (age 4, born in AR); and daughter Zula A. Alford (age 0, born in AR). Both of Henry's parents were born in Virginia; both of Josephine's parents were born in Georgia. ^[2]

Death and Legacy

On 14 Apr 1885, Henry Thomas Alford died at age 35. He was buried at Social Hill Cemetery in Social Hill Cemetery, Social Hill, Hot Spring County, Arkansas, USA. ^[3]
