Norman was born in 1894, son of Lewis Walter Algeo (Church of Ireland Clergyman) and Florence Harriet Collum. [1] [2]
On 2 April 1911 Lewis Algeo (26) Leiut 4th Royal Irish Rifles S R, widowed mother Florence Algeo (50) married 19 years with 5 children born / living, sister Ethel Algeo (25), brother Norman Algeo (16), all Church of Ireland and servant Rosie Mc Ferman (15) lived in Glenboy, County Leitrim, Ireland. [3]
Norman served as a Captain with the 3rd Battalion, Prince of Wales's Leinster Regiment (Royal Canadians). [4][5]
He Died of Wounds in 1917, aged 23 at the 55 Casualty Clearing Station and was buried at the Tincourt New British Cemetery, France. [6] [7] [8] [9]
