Robert Algie was born 4th August 1871 at Wylies Land, Partick, Lanarkshire, Scotland, the eighth child of Robert Algie, Rivetter & Catherine Hannah.[1][2]
Robert Algie, single, died aged 18 on 4th July 1890 in the River Clyde near to park Shipbuilding Yard, Whiteinch, Partick, Lanarkshire, Scotland, the son of Robert Algie, Rivetter (Journeyman) & Catherine Algie (Maiden Name Hannah). His usual residence was 46 Smith Street, Whiteinch, Partick. Cause of death was accidental drowning. Informant on death was Catherine Algie, Mother.[3]
