Watson-29472 and Algie-52 appear to represent the same person because: Robert Watson's marriage certificate indicates that he is the same person as Robert Algie. He appears to have started using his fathers surname at some point. His marriage certificate with Mary Campbell in 1877 puts him at the same age as Robert Algie. On the certificate his father is recorded as William Watson and his mother is Margaret Gardner, formerly Watson nee Algie.
