Alcidas Allain, fils de Michel et Sophie Bisson, est né le 26 mai 1901 à Grafton, Worcester, Massachusetts. ^[1]

Il épouse Marie Sylvie Adèle Girouard, fille de Pierre et Hélène Jaillet, le 15 février 1922, à New Bedford, Massachusetts. ^[2] Au recensement de 1930, la famille se compose ainsi:
