Biography

Theophilus Wilder Allan was born at Lubec ^[1] or, more probably, Whiting, Maine (death record of son, Nelson), ^[2] 28 Apr 1804, the son of Mark Patton Allan and Susanna Wilder; ^{[3] [4]} died of old age at Dennysville, Maine, 7 Jan 1894, aged 89y 8m 10d, ^[1] and is buried in the Dennysville Cemetery. ^{[5] [6]}

He married, probably at Portland, Maine, 21 Aug 1828, Martha Rhodes Sargent. ^{[3] [4] [7]}
