Biography
Alexander was born about 1850. He first married Jane Emma Denton in 1871.[1]
Jane died in 1879.[2]
He married Clara Lorden in 1884.[3]
In 1903 Alexander Allan, a merchant, was living at Bryon St, Canterbury, with his wife, Clara. Several other Allans also lived at Bryon St. Ethel Hero, Emily Constance, John William, a builder, were the others named.[4]
