James W Allan was born on January 5, 1795, in York, New Brunswick, Canada, his father, Thomas, was 32 and his mother, Anne, was 26. He married Julia Anne Allen in New Brunswick, Canada. He died on March 23, 1878, having lived a long life of 83 years, and was buried in Keswick, New Brunswick, Canada.[1]
