Biography

Sarah Swinburn Allan was born in 1866^[1] and baptised at Jesmond^[2].

She was the daughter of Thomas Allan and Mary Swinburn who were married in 1864^[3].

At the time of the 1871 census, Sarah was 5 years old and lived with her parents and siblings at Newcastle^[4].

In 1888 Sarah married James Mason Lathaen.^[5]

At the time of the 1911 census Sarah and James lived in Lancashire with their children^[6].
