Biography

Frances was baptised on 3rd December 1601 at St Brides Fleet Street as the daughter of Christover (sic) Allanson.

On 6 May 1622 she married William Picton at St Martin Vintry in London by a licence dated 3rd May 1622 in which 'William Picton, of the parish of St Brides London, a Grocer aged about 26 years and a bachelor' alleged that he intended to marry 'Frances Allanson of the same parish, a maid aged about 19 years and the daughter of Christopher Allanson of the same parish Vintner'.

Frances died before her father made his Will on 29th June 1625, as she is not included in the bequests but her husband William is.^[1]
