No records have been found for his birth, but family was living in Fairlee / West Fairlee VT at the time. They then moved to Sheldon VT during his childhood. Best records for him are in Fair Haven VT, where he married and died.
He had six known children, presumably all by wife, Sibel Bullock. Their names were Amasa, Ellen, Betsy Jane, James P., Samuel C., Lucy Jane.
