James married Emma Jane (Evans) Connor on 10 Jun 1891.[4] Emma had three children from her first marriage and they had six children together.[5] They lived in Granville Township, Licking County, Ohio in 1900 and by 1910 had moved to Newark, Licking County, Ohio, where they lived for decades.[6]
James died on 10 Aug 1952 in Newark, Licking County, Ohio.[1][7] He was buried in Wilson Cemetery in Newark.[8]
