Edith Mae Allbritton was born on February 1, 1920 to Jesse Burl Allbritton and Pearl Doyle in La Salle Parish, Louisiana.[1][2]
She was the second wife of Eben S Blackshear. They married after 1940. His previous wife was Edith's first cousin Minnie Olevia Allbritton who died in 1938. He died in 1999. Edith remained in Tullos, La Salle Parish until her death.[3][4]
She died on July 8, 2005 and is buried in New Union Cemetery in Tullos, La Salle Parish, Louisiana.[5][6]
