Maria was born 1848 and is the daughter of Pierre 'Peter' and Maria Alleman.^{[1][2][3][4][5]}

Maria married Gottlieb Gfeller in October 1869 at Des Moines, Polk, Iowa.^[6][7]

Maria passed away in 1928 and is buried in Saint Johns Cemetery, Geary County, Kansas, USA.^[8]
