Mary Lydia (Allen) Galpin was born on 21 Oct 1699 in Deerfield, Hampshire, Massachusetts Bay Colony. There is a birth record for Mary Allyn/Allen, child of Samll Allyn & Mary Allyn, who was born on 23 October 1699 in Northampton, Massachusetts, United States.[1] There is also a record for Mary, child of Samuel Allyn & Mercy Allyn, who was born on 22 October 1699 in Northampton, Massachusetts, United States.[2] She was the daughter of Samuel Allen and his second wife Mercy.

Mary married Benjamin Smalley (1702 - 1754).[3] Their children were:

  2. Samuel Small (1732 - ~1760)
  3. Rev. John Smalley D.D. (1734 - 1820)
  4. Phebe Small (1736 - ).

Mary married Samuel Galpin (~1699 - ) on 8 May 1759 in New Britain, Hartford, Connecticut.[4]

Mary died on 23 Oct 1762 in New Britain aged 63.[5]

Allen-45327 and Allen-10298 appear to represent the same person because: The two profiles are the same person, i.e., the second wife of Benjamin Smalley. Allen-45327 was created as child of Samuel Allen. Allen-10298 was created as wife of Benjamin Smalley but did not include her parents.
