Biography

John Wesley Allen was born on December 13, 1824 in Thomasville, Thomas, Georgia, United States, son of Isaac Allen (~1787–1851) and Esther Harrell (~1801–~1882).

John (26) married Martha Ellen Albritton (18) (born on November 21, 1832 in Lowndes, Georgia) in 1851 in Georgia. [1]

John (48) married Rachel F. Austin (25) (born about 1847 in Georgia, USA) in 1873 in Georgia. Their son was William Crosby Allen (1876–<1942).

John died on March 25, 1900 in Dixie, Brooks, Georgia, aged about 75.[2]
