"Emily Angeline Allen was born 26 Mar 1861 Marion Co AR to JohnAllen & Emeline Gibson. The Allen's settled in White River townshipsometime between 1850 and 1860. Emily married Charlie Lewallen the son ofJoseph Lewallen & Elizabeth Due on 25 Dec 1876 at her home on Lee'sMountain. They settled in Flippin and had 5 children before CharlieLewallen died June 1886. John (b) 1 Nov 1877, Floyd (b) 6 Sep 1879, Will(b) 29 Dec 1881, Elsie (b) 21 Mar 1884, Virgie (b) 18 Mar 1886 just twomonths before Charlie died.
Eli Henry McCracken was born 28 Aug 1854 in Murfreesboro, RutherfordCo, TN to Samuel Marion McCracken and Nancy Nipps. I do not know when theMcCrackens moved to Marion Co. Eli married Isabel C "Belle" Osborn thedaughter of William & Tilda Osborn about 1879. They settled at StonyPoint in Jimmy's Creek township. They had 5 children before Belle diedsometime between 1886-1888. Mary (b) Oct 1879, Sarah (b) 6 Nov 1881,Aaron (b) 16 Dec 1883, Ida (b) abt 1884 (died as an infant), Hattie (b)Jan 1886.
The Widow and the Widower married in Nov 1888 at Emily's home inFlippen. The McCracken clan moved into Emily's home in Flippen about 1/2mile from the White River. The following children were born to Emily andEli while in Marion Co. Lee Jewel (b) 6 Aug 1888, Francis Marion (b) 27Jul 1891.
In the early part of 1892 the clan moved to Indian Territory to joinJohn Lewallen (the son of Emily & Charlie Lewallen). After their arrivalin Indian Territory the following children were born to Eli and Emily.Pearl (b) 9 Oct 1893, James Ira (b) 25 Oct 1895 (died as an infant), Lucy(b) 4 July 1897, Dossie (b) 8 Jan 1900, Lena (b) 21 Apr 1902, Azza Jane(b) 31 Dec 1904."
