Joshua was born 21 Oct 1859. Joshua passed away on 18 Jan 1913 and was buried in Alta Vista Cemetery in Gainesville, Hall County, Georgia.[1]
Joshua married Dora Chastain on 01 May 1887 in Hall County, Georgia.[2]
Research Notes
There is a copy of his obit on Find a Gravie which shows he went by "Jot S. Allen" and that he was the son of Rev L. Q. and Maggie Allen. His obit shows he was born in Reidsville, Tattnall county. It also mentions he has six children surviving Mrs. W. H. Elrod, Misses Pearl, Ruth, Rubie, Helen, and Lucy Allen.
