Benjamin Allen, who married Margaret (unknown), was a Patriot Ancestor.[1] His record listed four children (which means only that descendants of those children have become members of DAR based on a proven relationship to their father Benjamin, not that they were Benjamin & Margaret's only children). DAR records show those four children were born in Virginia & that Benjamin and three of the four children died in Kentucky (son Thomas died in Missouri).[2]
One of Benjamin's sons, James, married Frances Jones, who was born c1790 in Delaware.[3]
