Allen-48483 and Allen-1391 appear to represent the same person because: Same father, same wife (will set dupes for merge), children on both profiles born in same place approximately. Unless there is support for him using the last name of Palmer, it should be removed. Please merge

I wouldn't merge them. Daniel Allen of Watertown/Boston died in Watertown (recorded at Lancaster) in 1694 LancVR p. 20; his wife was Mariana Bendall married by about 1680; their children were born at Boston. His wife Mariana remarried to Samuel Lynde in March, 1700/1 at Boston.

Allen 48483 has entirely different children than those attached Allen-1391.

See:Case 2147:p. 1-  : Suffolk County, MA: Probate File Papers https://www.americanancestors.org/databases/suffolk-county-ma-probate-file-papers/image?volumeId=48703&pageName=2147:4&rId=69455832

I think Allen-48483 is a conflation of various Daniel Allen's. Children of Daniel and Mariana appear to be John b. 1680: Katharine : Mary bapt 1681: Benjamin bapt 1687: Daniel b. 1688 , Eleazer 1692 at Boston. Maybe more?

No son Jonathan or daughter Abigail that I can find.

Needs PGM

I have sourced Allen-1391 as far as I can go. His wife needs to be changed to Mary Unk, she is NOT Mary Sherman, can't prove/disprove Mary Wilder.
