Research Notes
Joseph Allen, William Allen, Charles Allen, and Isaac Allen appear on the 1782 tax rolls of Montgomery County, North Carolina. FamilySearch indicates George Allen Sr. had sons named William b. 1749, and Charles b. 1747. It is possible these are the same individuals, and the other Allen's may be cousins or uncles. I place this information here to aid in further research. [3]
