George Washington ALLEN, married *Isabel KNIFFEN b. Apr. 23, 1848, dau of
David *KNIFFEN and *Mariah YATELY, on June 18, 1865. soon after coming home from the Civil War. He died Jan. 20, 1885 on his sons birthday, from chest wounds he received during the Civil War. *Isabel died Dec. 28, 1894. All are buried in the Sugar Camp Cemetery, in Moores Prairie Twsp. in Jefferson Co. Il.

LEARNED, Oct 18, 1891, dau. of Jones LEARNED and *Harriet Content THIERRY, died Aug. 15, 1966.
