Biography

Timothy was born in 1691, son of Samuel and Rebecca (Cary) Allen.

He married Rachel Bushnell 11 October 1714. They had nine children.

The family moved from Massachusetts to Norwich, Connecticut, living in the Newent section of Norwich, which later became the town of Lisbon, Connecticut. They removed from there in in about 1728-9 going to Windham, where they lived in the Scotland parish (later separated as the town of Scotland), and finally to Mansfield.[1]

He passed away in 1755 and is buried at Olde Mansfield Center Cemetery, Mansfield, Tolland County, Connecticut.
