Phineas Allen married Alice Cady, daughter of David and Hannah (Whitmore) Cady, on 18 October 1753 at Mansfield, Tolland, Connecticut. They were the parents of Asher and Cady (twins), Phineas, Diarca, Comfort, Alice, Elizabeth, Experience (1770-1773), a second Experience and Epenetus Allen
Their son Diarca Allen is recognized as a Patriot by the Daughters of the American Revolution
