Around June 2, 1852, William along with her family left the USA and headed to Deseret, Utah Territory to help settle as Mormon pioneers. They started their travel from Kanesville, Iowa (now known as Council Bluffs, Iowa) with the Benjamin Gardner Company[1] and arrived in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah Territory on September 24, 1852.
Joseph passed away died at the age of 78 on 25 July 1921 in Rockland, Power, Idaho, United States.[2]
