Harriet Rebecca Allen, daughter of David Lemuel Warren Allen and Calarinda Rogers, was born on 14 Jan. 1861 at Cherokee County, North Carolina.
She appeared on the census of 22 July 1870 in the home of her parents at Shoal Creek Township, Cherokee County, North Carolina.
She married Walter Scott Kimsey, son of John D. KImsey and Caroline Whitaker, on 9 Feb. 1878 at Cherokee County, North Carolina.
She and Water Scott appeared on the census of 1 June 1900 at Polk County, Tennessee.
Harriet died on 5 Sep. 1925 at Postell, Polk County, Tennessee, and was buried at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Turtletown, Polk County, Tennessee.  Her memorial has a photo of her headstone and links to those of family members.
