Nicholas Allen was the son of Samuel & Jane (Waln) Allen of Bucks County, Pennsylvania.[1]

Note from Howard Reynolds

  • According to the Genealogy of the Rodman Family 1620 to 1886 by Charles Henry Jones on page 45, Joseph ref 168 "married Mary Allen, dau of Nicholas Allen, Bensalem, Bucks County". "Nicholas the "great-grandson of Samuel Allen and Mary, his wife, who with their five children, came from Cheemagne, near Bristol England, on the ship "Bristol Factor,".

Nicholas was actually the grandson, but wife Mary's parent are correct.
