Reginald Allen was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)

Reginald Robert Roy ALLEN, son of Robert William ALLEN and Clara Maud PLAYFORD, was born in 1895 in Muswellbrook (R.D.), Colony of New South Wales, ^[1] died on 10 November 1933 in Dangar Cottage Hospital, Singleton, New South Wales, Australia ^[2] at age 38, and was buried in St. Paul's Church of England Cemetery, Doyles Creek Road, Doyles Creek, New South Wales, Australia. The cause of his death was from haemorrhage and shock, as a result of injuries received on 9th November, when a horse he was riding, slipped and fell on him. ^[3]

Reginald married Clara May ARCHINAL, daughter of Henry ARCHINAL and Selina Christiana SCHMIERER, in 1923 in Singleton (R/D), New South Wales, Australia. ^[4]

Clara was born on 1 May 1896 in Singleton (R.D.), Colony of New South Wales, died on 22 December 1969 in Singleton District Hospital, Singleton, New South Wales, Australia at age 73, and was buried in St. Paul's Church of England Cemetery, Doyles Creek Road, Doyles Creek, New South Wales, Australia.

They had five children: Marjorie, Joyce May, Gwenneth Lilian, Clifford Reginald, and Iris Clare.

   INQUEST CONCERNING LATE REGINALD ALLEN.
   An inquest, at the request of the police, was held this afternoon by the District Coroner (Mr Alex. Morrison) into the circumstances of the death of Mr Reginald Robert Roy Allen, of "Martindale," near Denman, on 10th November. After hearing the evidence, the Coroner found that death occurred in the Dangar Cottage Hospital on the date mentioned from hemorrhage and shock, as a result, of injuries received on 9th November through a horse he was riding slipping and falling on him.
