1. Gideon Allen: Gideon was born about 1795 in Johnston County, North Carolina. He married Charity George on March 4, 1823 in Johnston Co. He second married Redley Johnson on April 12, 1833. They had at least one child, Winifred (1836).

2. Bryant Allen: Bryant was born about 1797 in Johnston County. He married Susanna Wood on May 29, 1821. He was a farmer, and they had no known children. They moved to Fayette County, Georgia and later to Covington County, Alabama, where he was living as late as 1870.

3. Josiah Allen: Josiah was born November 20, 1798 in Johnston County. He married Winifred Ingram there on October 30, 1821. They had two children, Jincy Ann (1822) and William Bright (1824) before going west. They had two children in McNairy County, Tennessee - Elizabeth Evaline (1827) and John Wright (1828), and three children in Macon County, Illinois - Calvin Young (1831), Caroline G. (1832), and Josephus (1833) before finally settling in Hamilton County, Illinois, where they had four more children: Penelope (1837), James K. (1839), Winifred (1840), and Rachel Perlina (1844). He was a farmer and died May 20, 1855 near McLeansboro, age 56.

4. Ann Allen: Ann was born about 1804 in Johnston County. She married Thomas Johnson on October 11, 1822.

5. Alfred Allen: Alfred was born about 1807 in Johnston County. He married Leacy Johnson on September 10, 1839. He was constable and they had at least five children: Susan (1840), William (1842), Lucinda (1843), Edith (1845), and Lucy (1848).

6. Penelope Allen: Penelope was born about 1812 in Johnston County. She married Allen Johnson on December 23, 1833 and had seven children: Mary Jane (1834), Elizabeth (1836), Rachel A. (1839), Josephus (1842), Rufus Allen (1846), Louisa (1848), and Penny Margaret (1851). She died March 3, 1892 in Johnston County, age 80.

7. William Allen: William was born about 1816, fate unknown.
