Biography
ALLEN - Funeral service for C.P.O. James Arthur Allen, U.S. Navy, age 40, will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 2, 1998 from the Chapel of JACKSONVILLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 111 Blanding Blvd. Orange Park, with full military honors conferred by a Naval Chaplain. Chief Allen was born in Winchester, Massachusetts the son of Earl Raymond Allen, and Phyllis May Bradley Allen, and was on active duty serving in Rota, Spain when he died on August 24, 1998. He is survived by his wife; Karen McBride Allen. Parents; Raymond and Phyllis Allen, of Wilmington, MASS. Five Step Children; Karri Coward, Dean Little; Brandon Batugo; Edward Alfaro; Christopher Alfaro. One Brother; David Allen. One Sister; Barbara Griggs. Three Grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from noon until the hour of the service.
