I completed the merge but cleanup is still needed, as well as research into her given name/names & death location. ~ Noland-165 08:49, 5 May 2022 (UTC)
In the merge, I did not retain Mary as first name and Frances as middle name, as one of the two profiles had her, apparently citing the following:
"England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:J7H3-XMW : 11 February 2018, Mary in entry for Mary Lancaster, 07 Sep 1735); citing , index based upon data collected by the Genealogical Society of Utah, Salt Lake City; FHL microfilm 993,666.
Since both profiles had her born/died in Virginia, I did not think an England record was persuasive.
Also in the merge, I went with the Henrico death location instead of New Kent.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Frances by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Frances:
Allen-14187 and Allen-16047 appear to represent the same person because: I just completed a merge of duplicate profiles of son John. These duplicate profiles also need to be merged. Thanks!
Allen-16047 and Allen-14187 are not ready to be merged because: It appears that Mary Frances Allen lived roughly 1708-1738, and was the middle of three subsequent wives of John Lancaster. The first wife may have died in England, if it is correct about one of the older daughters having come from "across the sea". The third wife may have been named Frances, and I believe she was the mother of Richard M. (born about 1745) and possibly Robert (born about 1747 - I am chasing some DNA clues on him).
Notes will need to be dug out, but seems like the father of Mary Frances Allen was named Valentine, and that her mother Mary was the daughter of one Col. Thomas Page (who was, BTW, Valentine Allen's uncle-by-marriage???). Easy to see why this will take some sorting!!!
Meanwhile, feel free to contact me at pj_sisseck at yahoo dot com, and I will send my "cheat sheet" so we can compare notes. This will include my theories on Valentine Allen, Col. Thomas Page, etc.
