Mary Allen, daughter of Edmond Allen and Bridget Fleming.
Born
1812.
Limerick, Ireland.
Baptism 22 Jan 1812 at Knocklong and Glenbrohane, Limerick, Ireland.
Emigration
Mary (Allen) Sullivan migrated from Ireland to Canada.
As part of the Peter Robinson Expedition, the Allen family embarked at Cove, County Cork, Ireland, on board the ship 'Resolution', with Anthony Ward Master, for passage to Quebec on 5 May 1825. [1]
Family: Edmond 39, Bridget (nee Fleming) 38, John 19, William 17, Mary 14, Edmond 7, Robert 5, Bridget 3, Johanna (born during journey), John Fleming 66 (father-in-law), Bridget Johnson 11 (granddaughter). [2]
The family settled on E Lot 3, Concession 7, Douro. [3]
1851 Census - Otonabee, Peterborough County, Canada West (Ontario), Canada. [4]
Mary is shown on the 1851 Census as "Mrs. Sullivan", along with her husband. The system can't locate the file to include here, so I'm including the file for Michael. [6]
Unable to find Mary in the 1861 Census and Michael shows as a widow in the 1871 Census. Probable death in January 1864. [7]

I worked to get it right the first time, but as we know... mistakes happen, times change and so does access to information. Please add to or correct this profile based on sourced fact. Thanks. Morgan Mulligan
